INSTRUCTIONS

​

1) Color in the Beis Hamikdosh.

2) Cut open the doors by

     a) cutting halfway through the black doorway and

    b) cutting on the dotted line.

3) Stick two pieces of scotch tape behind the doors, so that the doors stick to the next page.

 

LESSON

Dovid Hamelech's biggest dream was to build the Beis Hamikdosh.  He started gathering together all the necessary equipment he would need.  However, Hashem wanted his son SHLOMO to be the one to build the Beis Hamikdosh.

When Shlomo Hamelech finished building the Beis Hamikdosh, he made a big Seuda for all the Yidden. But, when they wanted to go through the doors, the door were locked!!!  It was impossible to open them.

Shlomo Hamelech davened and davened to Hashem - but the doors didn't budge.  When Shlomo said, "in the Zechus of your servant Dovid, please open the doors, the doors swung open." (Open up the taped doors.)

Thats how Hashem rewarded Dovid for wanting so badly to build the Beis Hamikdosh.
